My family and I feel compelled to offer our heartfelt gratitude to some very special folks who quietly and professionally do wonderful work for us every day here in Anderson County.
Like many, I’ve probably taken our county fire department and sheriff’s office for granted way too much during the eight-plus years I’ve lived in this community, but no longer.
Thankfully most of us don’t have to deal with these public servants on a regular basis, and that is perhaps largely in part because they do their jobs well.
