Fourth celebration worth the wait

To the editor:

I would like to extend a generous thank you to those who made the rescheduled Fourth of July celebration on the Green a success.

We survived the storm and were rewarded with an excellent band, a fantastic fireworks display and the opportunity to have the community come together for an affordable evening.

Thanks to our mayor and the city of Lawrenceburg, and thanks to the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary for a fine parade.
