Local Junior Miss competes with winners from across state

-A A +A
By Tim McCarthy

Anderson County's Junior Miss may not have won the state title, but she did bring home some great experiences from last week's competition.

Molly Kays represented Anderson County well in the pageant.

"She did great in every area, and everyone seem to notice, except the judges," said her mom, Mary Carol Kays.

"I was holding my breath thinking she would win one of the individual awards, just as I'm sure other moms were, but we were all surprised she didn't win something. She really did great."
