“Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” is an initiative being launched nationally Dec. 12 through the end of the year as police agencies crack down on alcohol and drug-related crashes, according to a joint news release from the Lawrenceburg Police Department and Anderson County Sheriff’s Office.
Both are participating in the campaign “to make Kentucky highways safer,” according to the release.
There were 5,639 alcohol and drug-related crashes last year in Kentucky, causing 3,082 injuries and 150 deaths, according to the news release.
