Smith, Ruggles reject survey costs, tell judge-executive to investigate

An ongoing discussion about trading county-owned land with a developer hit a snag last Tuesday when magistrates rejected Judge-Executive Steve Cornish’s attempt to have the land surveyed.
Developer Doug Dadisman apparently approached the fiscal court several months ago to purchase a strip of land near the Farmers Market on US 127 Bypass, just north of the city.
