Main Street place to be to celebrate Halloween

The DARE “Project Safe Street” will be expanding to “Trick or Treat on Main” this Halloween, featuring free food, candy and entertainment provided by local businesses, churches and community leaders.
Main Street will be blocked off from Woodford to Court Street on Wednesday, Oct. 31 for the Halloween festivities starting at 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
Trick-or-treat bags, glow sticks and candy will be handed out in front of the Anderson County courthouse through the DARE “Project Safe Street” program.
Free hot dogs, chips and drinks will also be available.
The Anderson County High School dance team will be giving a special performance at the event as well.
Trick-or-treat hours for the city of Lawrenceburg will also be Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
