A Mount Eden man charged with growing five marijuana plants near his home allegedly told police he was growing the pot for medical reasons.
John P. Patterson, 61, of 3503 Mount Eden Road, was arrested at his residence after troopers with the Kentucky State Police found pot plants growing in various locations outside of his home.
Trooper Jason Woodside wrote in his arrest report that Patterson “stated he had a medical condition and he uses marijuana to treat the condition.”
