Man charged with DUI while reporting theft

A Frankfort man was charged with DUI after allegedly driving to the Kentucky State Police Post 12 to report items stolen from his home, according to a news release from the state police.
Victor Smith, 67, was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and was lodged in the Franklin County Detention Center, police said.
Troopers are investigating Smith’s theft allegations, they said.
