A Lawrenceburg man has been charged with murder following the stabbing death of a Frankfort man Wednesday evening at the Lawrenceburg Food Court.

Frederick C. Graeter, 18, of Lawrenceburg, who was arraigned in Anderson District Court on Thursday morning, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Robert Snider, 20, of Frankfort.

Graeter allegedly stabbed Snider on Wednesday around 5:45 p.m. in the food court parking lot, located at 1011 Crossroad Drive, just across the U.S. 127 Bypass from Anderson County High School.

Lawrenceburg police and Anderson County sheriff department officials arrested Graeter a short time later at the corner of Forrest Drive and Ann Drive. He called authorities at about 6:30 p.m. to turn himself in, police said.

Graeter is being held in the Franklin County Regional Jail on $750,000 full cash bond. A preliminary hearing has been set for Jan. 24.
