Man charged with rape of mentally disabled sister

Auston G. Satterly, 18, of 34834 Mt. Eden Road, was scheduled to appear Oct. 16 in Anderson Circuit Court for a disposition hearing regarding the alleged incest and rape of his 21-year-old mentally disabled sister.
Satterly was arrested Jan. 25, 2012, for incidents dating back to November 2011 through December 2011, according to Kentucky State Police reports.
He has pleaded not guilty to one count incest, a Class B felony; one count rape in the first degree, a Class B felony; and one count rape in the third degree of a person incapable of consent.
According to a January 2012 interview conducted by state police with the victim, the female disclosed her brother had sex with her, but according to state police reports, was not a credible witness due to possessing the mental capacity of a 5 to 10 year old.
The report stated the victim “has trouble with a truth and a lie.”
