The Anderson County Marching Bearcats participated in the Mark Twain Invitational in Adair County this past weekend. Band director Patrick Brady said although no bands were scored on their performances, the Anderson County band met with the judges and received constructive feedback. ‘They said it was the best start for us ever,” Brady said via e-mail. ‘They love the costuming for the guard, new uniforms and concept. They couldn’t say we were one of the bests, but they couldn’t hide their enthusiasm for what they had had witnessed.’ Pictured are the Anderson County High School marching band and color guard competing in Adair County this past weekend at the Invitational.
