Methodist church consecrates education wing

The Lawrenceburg United Methodist Church, located on 565 Carlton Drive, recently celebrated the consecration of its new education wing on Sunday, Jan. 27.
According to the Rev. Karen Stigall, construction on the wing began Aug. 29, 2012, and the wing was completed on Jan. 26, 2013.
The 5,000 square foot space, designed with input from the children’s leadership team and board of trustees Stigall said, will be used to provide nursery care for infants and toddlers as well as classroom space for adult and children Christian education classes.
