Jennifer Johnson and Heather Hardin, language arts teachers at Anderson Middle School, hosted a reception Jan. 27 for those seventh graders whose individual memoirs were selected by their peers.
This is the first year Hardin and Johnson have required their seventh grade students to write a memoir about someone special in their life, with fellow students voting on which memoirs they liked best.
