Catherine Myers, executive director of the Anderson County Chamber of Commerce, joined 45 representatives from local chambers across the commonwealth last week in Murray for the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives’ fall conference.
Professional development programs were offered on topics including customer service, technology, social media, and aligning roles and goals, according to a news release. In addition, the attendees participated in a time honored Best Practice session where they shared information on what their local chamber is doing.
Networking events offered attendees the chance to exchange ideas and develop relationships with their counterparts around the state, the release said.
“In the chamber business, it’s imperative to share experiences and talk about what works and what doesn’t,” Myers said. “KCCE conferences provide ample opportunities to discuss important issues with colleagues and foster a strong support system we can utilize throughout the year.”
