National Legion Commander visits Lawrenceburg Healing Field

The American Legion National Commander Fang Wong and his aide Doug Malin came to Lawrenceburg to visit the Kentucky Auxiliary Healing Field.
Accompanying him were Department of Kentucky Commander Doug Farley Sr., Senior Vice Commander Joe Flynn, Service Officer and Alternate National Executive Committee Member Randy Fisher, Public Relations Steve Stewart, Historian John Mullins and Finance Officer Silas Noel.
They were escorted from Elizabethtown by Post 113 motorcyclists.
Post 34 Commander Bobby Thornberry and Auxiliary members welcoming the visitors were Department President Lois Hall, Department Secretary Janet Klapheke and Department Membership Chairman and Unit 34 member Pam Rice. Other Unit 34 members were President Betty Butler, Nettie Halvorson, Debra Cummins and Shirley Thornberry.
Unit 34 presented a Healing Field T-shirt and a gas card to the National Commander and a T-shirt to his aide.
