Nellie Hawkins Simpson, 91

Nellie Hawkins Simpson, 91, widow of Robert L. Simpson, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012.
Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late William A. and Minnie Chilton Hawkins.
Nellie was a 1938 graduate of Lawrenceburg City High School. She became co-owner with her sister of Hawkins Grocery. She later was employed by Kentucky State Government and retired after 20 years.
