No one can accuse Anderson County of loading its own girls' soccer tournament with a group of cream puffs designed to add more hardware to the trophy case.

That makes Saturday's 3-1 win over North Hardin in the championship game of the Lady Bearcat Invitational that much sweeter.

"This was our first win in the tournament since 2003," said Anderson head coach Jason Earnest. "That was April Carbajal's senior year."
