Anderson County Schools will be closed Friday, according to a One Call that went out from Superintendent Kim Shaw around 4 p.m.
Schools were also closed Thursday.
A couple of inches of snow blanketed the area during the day on Thursday, and winds ranging from 15 to 25 mph were expected to cause snow drifts and wind chills between 0 and 10 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
