To the editor:
Our Constitution requires the president to give information of the state of the union to Congress and recommend such measures as “he shall judge necessary and expedient …”
Congress received no such information from President Obama on Jan. 25. No specific measures were recommended to address the 50.2 million impoverished Americans or any of the other well-known problems that range from debt and meaningless wars to the tyrannical lobby industry.
