The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources will conduct a public meeting Feb. 25 in Shelbyville to discuss a proposal to allow larger pontoon boats on Guist Creek Lake in Shelby County.
Department officials are considering a change in regulations that would increase the maximum length of pontoon boats on the lake from 22 feet to 24 feet. Several boat owners would be affected by this change.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Stratton Community Center in downtown Shelbyville, located at 215 Washington Street.
