Owen slips past Bearcats

Owen County broke a tie with two minutes to play, then held on to beat visiting Anderson County, 61-57 in boys' basketball action Friday night.

Anderson, which had been clinging to a one-point lead going into the fourth quarter, saw Owen convert a turnover to take the lead 56-54. Then after the Bearcats missed a shot, the Rebels nailed a 3-pointer to go up by five points.
