Pamela Perry Giles Sweasy, 70, died July 8, 2012, at Hospice Care Center in Lexington.
She was born Sept. 5, 1941, in Lawrenceburg, the daughter of the late John William and Christine Perry Giles.
In 1993 she retired as a secretary with the Workforce Development Cabinet. She was a member of the First Christian Church where she was a founding member of the Ervin Circle, a member of the diaconate, and secretary of the board. Her enjoyments included serving as caregiver of her husband Bill, keeping up with friends, and spending time with grandkids.
