Penny named to Kentucky All-Stars

Will play Indiana this summer

Anderson County All-Stater C.J. Penny has been named to the Kentucky All-Star team that will be playing the Indiana All-Stars this summer. The team was announced Wednesday.

Penny, who averaged 22 points and 11 rebounds a game, was named to the team after tryouts at Campbellsville University over the weekend.

Others named to the team were Mr. Basketball Jon Hood of Madisonville, Adair County's Darren Ballou, DeLon Butler of Apollo, Elliott County twins Ethan and Evan Faulkner, Corey Jackson of Shawnee, Mason County's Russ Middleton, Vee Sanford of Lexington Catholic, Corey Wilford of Christian County, Fulton City's Aaron Wilson and Louisville Central's Ridge Wilson.

The games will be June 13 at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis and June 14 at Bellarmine University in Louisville.
