Another day, another pit bull attack in Lawrenceburg.
The latest attack came Wednesday morning when a pit bull broke its leash on Washington Street and mauled a neighbor's dog.
"It got a neighbor's dog and chewed it up pretty bad," said Lawrenceburg Police Chief Tommy Burris.
Burris said an animal control officer was able to capture the dog and take it county's animal control shelter.
"The dog usually stays inside but the [owner] tied it up on the porch," Burris said. "It broke it's leash and ate the neighbor's dog up."
