The Lawrenceburg police department and the Anderson County sheriff’s office are joining with other state and local law enforcement in the 2012 national “Click It or Ticket” campaign through June 3, according to a press release from the city police department.
“Too many drivers and passengers on the road at night are not wearing their seat belts, and it all too often ends in tragedy,” Officer Nathan Doty said in the news release. “Our goal is to save more lives, so the Lawrenceburg police department will be out enforcing seat belt laws — day and night.”
