All agree, however, that Anderson's real estate market suffered mightily in 2007. The number of home sales dropped 20 percent when compared to 2006. Home prices - considered by most a bellwether sign of the market - were off 6 percent, according to statistics released last week by the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of Realtors, which includes statistics specifically for Anderson County.
