Relay for Life hosts golf scramble, House of Trees
Relay for Life will host the “Swing fore a Cure” golf scramble Oct. 15 at 10 a.m. at Wild Turkey Trace Golf Course.
Registration begins at 9 a.m.
Cost is $50 per player or $200 for four-person team, which includes meal.
Optional mulligans, skirts, kick and throws will be available.
There will also be a car giveaway for a hole in one.
Team pre-registration requested by contacting Griffin Gillis at 502-517-1986 or Wild Turkey Trace Golf Course at 839-4029 to reserve a spot in the scramble.
Players are asked to specify the cancer victim they will be playing in honor of or in memory of so they can be recognized.
Proceeds go to Relay for Life.
Third annual House of Trees
Relay for Life will host the third annual House of Trees Nov. 18-20 at the West Park Shopping Center, US 127 Bypass.
There will be a three day silent auction featuring decorated holiday trees, wreaths, centerpieces and classic gingerbread houses.
On Friday, Nov. 18 from 7-10 p.m. there will be live music and dancing, hors d-oeuvres and desserts.
On Saturday, Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. -5 p.m., there will be entertainment and refreshments; kids get free picture with Santa and Mrs. Claus from noon to 2 p.m.
On Sunday, Nov. 20 from 1-5 p.m., there will be live gospel music and refreshments.
Admission: $20 Friday, $5 Saturday-Sunday, children 3 and under free.

One hundred percent of proceeds go to Anderson County Relay for Life.
