Reward offered in tire dumping case

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office wants to know who dumped a load of tires on Highway 395 and is offering a $500 reward to find out.
Deputies responded Jan. 24 to a complaint about several tires being dumped on Highway 395 near US 44. According to a news release, Deputy Loren Wells found several identifying marks on several of the dumped tires. The marks included gray duct tape and masking tape with sales prices affixed to the tires.
The reward is for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for dumping the tires.
