Shelby County was on a mission Saturday night.

The Rockets might have felt their 30-year stranglehold on 30th District supremacy slipping away and were determined to do something about it.

Mission accomplished.

The Rockets went on a 16-0 run in the first 2:48 of the second quarter to stun top-seeded Anderson County 73-61 in the district tournament final before an overflow crowd at Spencer County High School.
