Addie Miller, a second grader at Saffell Street Elementary School, is performing in the production of the classic story “Charlotte’s Web”  at Lexington Children’s Theatre.
The cast consists of more than 20 young actors from Lexington and the central Kentucky area, high school age and younger.
For most of the play, Addie is one of three goslings who repeat, repeat, repeat themselves just like their  mother, the goose. In the final scene, she becomes one of Charlotte’s baby  spiders who decides to stay at the farm with Wilbur, the pig, and the other animals. Being a part of the production at LCT has been a wonderful learning experience for Addie, sources report.
“The many hours and late nights of rehearsal have paid off in the excitement of taking the stage before a live audience. Addie encourages all Anderson County students to take advantage of opportunities to see how much fun performing can be.”
“Charlotte’s Web” is the third production in which Addie has been privileged to take part.
Her first taste of performing came when, as a kindergarten student, she played the role of Baby Bear in the Anderson County Community Education production of “The Surprising Story of the Three Little Pigs.”
As a first grader, Addie was a little orphan in the Anderson County High School spring musical  “Annie.”
Addie is a daughter of Don and Jennifer Miller.
