Salvisa Christian plans ‘Make-A-Blanket Day’

Salvisa Christian Church will host a Project Linus Make-A-Blanket Day on Saturday, Feb. 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 pm.
“Come and go as you are able,” organizers said in a news release. “A potluck lunch will be served.”
Those interested in making blankets can bring 1 1/2 yards of fleece of any color or with any characters pleasing to children.
“If you can’t bring any fleece, come anyway,” organizers said.
