Salvisa Christian Church will sponsor a Make-a-Blanket Day on Saturday, Nov. 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Participants can come and go throughout the day.
A potluck lunch will be served.
Participants are asked to bring 1 1/2 yards of fleece of any color or characters pleasing to children, infants to 18 years.
“If you can’t bring any fleece, come anyway,” organizers said in a news release.
Blankets go to the Danville Surgery Center, Haggin Memorial Hospital ER, and the local fire department.
