The Board of Education unanimously approved to spend $12,089 to replace the problematic high school football scoreboard at its Aug. 20 meeting.
Board chairman Roger McDowell apologized for the football scoreboard’s malfunctions during the season opener against Bryan Station last Friday, and thanked everyone’s effort in trying to get the scoreboard to work.
