An Anderson County school bus, Bus #65, was involved in a minor accident at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday morning as it was picking up kids for school on Edmondson Road, according to an Anderson News reporter at the scene Tuesday.
None of the 15 students were injured, and all students were examined by Anderson County EMS.
The sheriff's office says the bus and vehicle met on Edmondson Road. Both came to a stop and when the vehicle tried to squeeze around the bus on the one-lane road, its mirror struck the back corner of the bus, leaving a small black mark. No charges will be filed against the driver.
The bus, examined by school district bus garage maintenance employees, sustained no serious damage and was able to continue on its morning route.
The Anderson County sheriff's office also responded to the scene Tuesday and is in charge of the investigation.
