Anderson County schools are closed today (Friday), the school system announced at 6:15 a.m.
According to a message from the district, schools are closed due to the “possibility of inclimate weather.”
A mixture of snow and ice is expected to fall through the day, with temperatures topping out this afternoon around the freezing mark.
