Anderson County schools will remain closed Wednesday following Tuesday morning’s wintry blast that left roads treacherous and sent two state plow trucks sliding off the road.
School transportation officials made the announcement at 2:21 p.m. Tuesday.
Monday’s forecast for several inches of snow and ice to hit our area proved accurate when temperatures cooled late Monday night and the skies started spritzing a mixture of freezing rain and snow.
