Clean out your closets
The  Anderson Senior  Center is in need of your treasures for their spring yard sale. It will be held Saturday, March 26 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Items will be priced for a quick sale. A flag pole and Easter basket will be raffled.
All proceeds will be used for senior citizen services.
Call the center at 839-7520 for more information.

Mayor for meals/Leaders for lunches
The Anderson Senior Center will participate in Mayors for Meals/Leaders for lunches again this year on Wednesday, March 23. This campaign is designed to generate public awareness of our meal programs and to assist in recruiting new volunteers and to increase our local fundraising.
In 2010 over 1200 mayors, judge-executives, local officials and community leaders delivered meals as part of this program. The senior center has invited community leaders to serve congregate meals, to package and deliver home delivered meals, and, in general, to learn how the center’s meal programs work.
Spots will be filled on a first call/first pick basis. Interested persons should call 839-7520 to participate.
Volunteers are welcome to assist with meals any day of their choice.
