The Anderson County High School class of 2008 celebrated its graduation on Saturday with a commencement ceremony at the Frankfort Convention Center.
According to the program, 271 students were in the 2008 graduating class.
The convention center was full of family and friends who cheered and clapped when a loved one's name was read. Superintendent Kim Shaw shook the students' hands as they walked across the stage to receive their diplomas.
