A Lawrenceburg man struck a utility pole while driving east on Highway 44 Saturday morning.
Keith Osborne, 44, of Lawrenceburg was driving a green 1995 Chevrolet pickup a little after 11 a.m. when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a utility pole about two miles west of Lawrenceburg on Highway 44.
Traffic was rerouted on Highway 44 for several hours as Kentucky State Police reconstructed the accident scene.
According to Major Terry Duckwall of Anderson County EMS, Osborne sustained moderate to severe injuries in the crash and was transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
A Kentucky State Police report released Saturday afternoon listed Osborne as being in critical condition as of Nov. 9.
No one else was injured in the accident.
The Anderson County sheriff’s office, EMS and county fire also responded to the scene to assist KSP.
The collision investigation is still ongoing by state police, according to a KSP news release.
