Sixth grade academic team places second in showcase

The sixth grade academic team from Anderson County middle school competed at the sixth grade showcase at Second Street Elementary in Frankfort on Dec. 3.
The team competed against eight other schools from surrounding counties such as Franklin, Shelby and Spencer County.
The showcase, coach Melinda Kerbaugh said, consists of two components: the individual written assessments and the quick recall competition.
