Three Anderson County High School Spanish students were honored guests at the annual convention of Kentucky’s World Language Teachers in Lexington in September.

Foreign language students who placed first or second in academic categories at the state foreign language competition at the University of Kentucky in May were invited to receive awards and recognition from the assembled educators at the Kentucky Stars Breakfast.
Elle Woolery won first place in Spanish II Recitation of a Literary Passage, Tiffany Alexander won first place in Spanish I Recitation, and Marina Morgan won second place in Spanish III Reading Proficiency.
All three young ladies represented Anderson County at the awards breakfast.
