Mustang wrestlers do well at Woodford
The Anderson County Middle School wrestling team placed eighth out of 30 teams in the Woodford County Invitational Tournament on Jan. 5.
Anderson placed well despite having to forfeit in four different weight classes.
“To come in as an underdog in the biggest tournament of the regular season and finish where we did is a pretty cool thing,” Anderson coach Jonathan Haddix said. “We beat teams with full rosters with our smaller but more efficient team.
