Finally, a good long drink arrived and the gardens and wildflowers went “ahhhhhh.” Mother Nature sure has been stingy with her water this season, especially here on the farm. Even my purple cone flowers were looking droopy.
Out here on “The Ridge,” rains frequently go around us. It can be pouring down in town and we may get only sprinkles here on the farm. Occasionally, the tables may turn, but that’s usually in the winter.
