Stolen car triggers Crime Stoppers reward offer from police

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office and Crime Stoppers are seeking tips assisting in the identification and location of anyone involved with a case of a car stolen from Shawn’s Exhaust and Auto Service, the sheriff’s office announced.
A cash reward is being offered for any information leading to an arrest based on a caller’s tip.
Callers are requested to call Crime Stoppers at 502-839-6969.
Any and all tips are anonymous.
On June 12, 2012, the sheriff’s office recovered an abandoned stolen vehicle, which was a red Ford Focus on Rice Road in Anderson County.
After further investigation it was determined the car was stolen from Shawn’s Exhaust and Auto Service, located on Broadway between the hours of 8 p.m. on June 11, and 7 a.m. June 12.
