Students gear up for District Governor’s Cup

This weekend, students from all of the county’s elementary schools will participate in the 2011 District Governor’s Cup.
The event, which is sponsored by the Kentucky Association for Academic Competition, is planned for Saturday, Feb. 26 at Robert B. Turner Elementary.
Governor’s Cup features eight events, including the Quick Recall event.  District winners will advance to the Regional Governor’s Cup competition on March 19.
