It is not certain if anyone taking aim with a bow and arrow in Louisville Saturday will be a marksman in the class of William Tell, but more than 3,000 young archers will certainly try.
They will be descending on the Kentucky State Fairgrounds for Saturday's national tournament for the Archery in the Schools program.
The number will include more than 60 from Anderson County who will be joining others from around the nation in the one-day event.
The tournament will draw more than 1400 more archers than last year's competition.
