To the editor:
I am very offended by the following statement Sports Editor John Herndon made in his column last week in his column titled “Carlson’s take on home-schoolers playing public sports just wrong”: “The bottom line is clear: If a school is not good enough to educate a child, why is it suddenly good enough for a child to have the privilege of playing a sport?”
I am a product of public school education. At this present time I am a home school educator of my first grade daughter and three other preschool children.
