Team encourages others to make difference

To the editor:
The Anderson County High School Volleyball Team participated in 2012 Relay For Life event held on Friday, June 8 at the American Legion Park.
Coach Bobby Hardin and Coach Courtney Delong encouraged the teammates to embrace team bonding by actively participating in this community outreach event for a worthy cause. Together the team helped raise $360 and increase awareness to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against this disease.
