To the editor:
As a member of the Board of Directors of T.O.U.C.H. (Treasuring Our Underprivileged Citizens with Heart) of Central Kentucky, I thank the Anderson News and Meaghan Downs for the excellent coverage recently provided for this new charitable organization that is headquartered in Anderson County.
Although we are small in number right now, the organization has been very busy working to assist people in need of home safety repairs to prevent in-home accidents and to provide weatherization in homes of the elderly.
There is much pride among everyone working with T.O.U.C.H. particularly those who are either residents or natives of Anderson County, and those who donate in various ways so the work can be performed for those in need.
Local board leadership is provided by Lynn Rucker, Treasurer; Jason Cubert, Attorney; Greg Dearinger, Executive Director, all of whom give of themselves and their time to guide T.O.U.C.H. as the organization pursues its goals for making Central Kentucky a better place to live.
I applaud the newspaper for sharing our important story with its readers.

T.O.U.C.H. Board Secretary
