They needed burgoo, and it didn’t take them long to find out where to find it.
The organizers of the Kentucky Bluegrass Music Festival in Louisville knew that adding burgoo to the festival’s lineup would give it a kick, but first they needed to find a renowned purveyor of the hodge-podge of a stew.
“We were watching a KET documentary on burgoo while considering adding it to the festival,” said Matt Willinger of Bisig Impact Group in Louisville, the event’s organizer.
